Caption: "The monument, dedicated to Captain Henry Lomb, patriot, pioneer manufacturer, educator and public benefactor, is 48 feet high. Funded by the families of Henry Lomb and John Bausch, it was unveiled on Memorial Day, May 30, 1930, with thousands of people participating.
